How do I switch between the electric and manual grinding modes?
The transition is seamless and tool-free. Simply detach the electric module and snap on the solid walnut hand crank.
What is the difference between the Standard Edition and the Travel Kit?
The Standard Edition includes the MAXA hybrid grinder, electric module, solid walnut hand crank, Type-C charging cable, cleaning brush, and soft storage bag. The Travel Kit includes everything in the Standard Edition, plus a rigid protective travel case with a water-resistant PU leather exterior and a custom-molded high-density EPE foam interior.
How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?
The MAXA features USB Type-C Fast Charging and fully charges in approximately 1.5 hours. A full charge provides exceptional endurance: up to 20 pour-over brews (15g each) or 15 espresso shots (18g each).
Can the MAXA grind fine enough for espresso?
Yes. Equipped with precision-milled 7-Star SUS420 stainless steel conical burrs and a micro-adjustment dial, it easily handles ultra-fine grinds. Our adjustment dial features official recommended markings as a starting point, but we highly encourage you to explore the settings to unlock and discover your preferred unique flavors.
How should I clean and maintain the grinder?
To preserve the precision engineering and protect the hybrid module, DO NOT wash any part of the grinder with water. Simply use the included cleaning brush or a professional air blower to remove residual coffee grounds after use.
